A YOUNG woman has stunned police by recording a blood alcohol content of 0.385 - one of the highest levels ever recorded.Police said they subjected the woman to a roadside screening before she was taken to the Canberra Hospital.The 0.385 reading was 19 times [above] the permitted blood alcohol level - she is a P-plate driver which permits a reading of only 0.02.
Since she was conscious, there's always the possibility that the blood results are wrong, but I doubt anyone wants to explore that avenue.
